| 5/13/2008 5:29:01 AM - I'm happy to announce that "Out of the Circle" has been picked up for release on March 4, 2008 by the prestigious jazz label Sunnyside.
This project represents my new musical vision, trying to go out of my circle that I was in before. It includes some of the best New York musicians such as Antonio Sanchez, Scott Colley, Henry Hey, Adam Rogers, Donny McCaslin, Robin Eubanks, Gil Goldstein, Daniel Sadownick and Monday Michiru. Recorded and mixed by Dave Darlington in Avatar Studios, New York, and mastered by Mark Wilder at Sony Mastering. Please check it out. |

|  | PRINTS Released May 25, 2007 from Criss Cross Jazz | | Alongside the making of my ArtistShare project OUT OF THE CIRCLE, I also made a recording for Criss Cross Jazz entitled PRINTS. As explained in my blogs, PRINTS is in a way a musical prologue to OUT OF THE CIRCLE. Featuring David Kikoski, Scott Colley, Antonio Sanchez and Chris Potter, you can read the liner notes here on my news page written by John Kelman ("All That Jazz"). And for you OUT OF THE CIRCLE participants, the artwork is pretty much finished up and going to the pressing plant on Monday June 11 (my birthday) so the wait is almost over!
